As some of Chris Hemsworth’s fellow comrades in the ‘Avengers’ may have hung their superhero capes for good, it seems that curiousity have surrounded the God of Thunder as he is rumoured to be following in their footsteps soon.
According to Variety
, Hemsworth has confirmed that he’ll be holding on to his Mjolnir a little longer as he has no plans to retire after ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’.
Still loves Thor
In an interview with Elle Man
, the Aussie says he’s not ready to say goodbye to Thor when asked if the fourth installment would be the end of the road for him.
“Are you crazy?! I’m not going into any retirement period. Thor is far too young for that. He’s only 1,500 years old,” Hemsworth said.
“It’s definitely not a film that I say goodbye to this brand. At least I hope so.”
The 43-year-old added that the script for ‘Thor 4’ is a lot more fun than ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, and he’s happy to still be in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ will feature the return of Natalie Portman, who’ll be taking the spotlight as the movie will highlight Jane Foster’s transformation into female Thor.
Due to the film’s storyline, reports have surfaced that Hemsworth isn’t happy that he’s ‘being replaced’
in his own film.
This, however, didn’t dampen the actor’s spirit so we’ll probably still see a lot of him in the MCU.
‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ is set to premiere on 11 February 2022.
