Last night, the Daily Mail
sent fans and social media on a frenzy after reporting that Emma Watson’s career has gone ‘dormant’, which in Hollywood means ‘retire’.
Fans started to debate whether the news was true or not, while others were pouring tributes to her career.
The ‘Harry Potter’ star reportedly wants to take a step back in order to spend more time with her rumoured fiancé, Leo Robinton.
Marriage life in exchange Hollywood?
The 30-year-old actress recently broke the hearts of her male fans after news of her engagement
surfaced earlier in February.
Despite the reports, it seems that the whole things is just a big misunderstanding, her manager said.
According to Entertainment Weekly,
Watson is still actively acting despite the small number of projects she’s taken on over the recent years.
"Emma's social media accounts are dormant but her career isn't," her manager told EW in a statement.
This is definitely true as a quick check on her Instagram page has “Emma’s official Instagram page is currently dormant and is not being updated” written in the bio section.
She was last seen on screen in 2019 as Meg March in 'Little Women', directed by Greta Gerwig.
So, worry not fans, Emma may return to the big screen again sometime in the future but for now, she’s probably happy spending time with her family and fiancé.
