We love you, Hilary.

We know fans (including us) were left heartbroken after it was announced that the ‘Lizzie McGuire’ reboot has been cancelled despite having filmed the first two episodes.
But fret not, because our girl crush, Hilary Duff, is set to return to your TV screens but in another universe.

How I Met Hilary Duff?

From Lizzie to Sophie.
According to Variety, the sequel to ‘How I Met Your Mother’, which has been aptly titled as ‘How I Met Your Father’ is in the works for Hulu channel.
Hilary Duff has been named to star in the series as Sophie.
She will play the titular character telling her son the story of how she met his father: a story that catapults us back to the year 2021 where Sophie and her close-knit group of friends are in the midst of figuring out who they are, what they want out of life, and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and limitless options.
It is unclear if the original cast will appear in the sequel or if it will tie back to the sequel at all.
Duff will also serve as a producer in the sequel alongside the show’s creators, Carter Bays and Craig Thomas.
