'My Mister'

Cast: Lee Ji-Ah, Park Hae-Young, ‎Song Sae-Byeok and ‎Kim Won-Suk
What we love: The dark yet beautiful story line will keep you engaged. Oh, and the original soundtrack is awesome too

A man in his 40's withstands the weight of life, and a woman in her 20's goes through difficult experiences, but also withstands the weight of her life. The man and the woman then get together to help each other out.

'My Mister' will be available on Astro On Demand beginning 10 April, so remember to mark your calendar.

What we love: The strong acting by the cast members, as well as the production quality. We like the slow but gritty build up of the story, but it might not be everyone's cup of tea.
A temporary teacher at an elementary school realises that one of her students is being abused at home by her family. When she couldn't take it anymore, she makes an impulsive decision to kidnap the child and attempts to become her mother.

'Goblin' tells the story of two accidental roommates: a handsome 100-year-old goblin and a forgetful grim reaper. The goblin is sick of immortality, and wants to end it by falling in love with a mortal. This mortal, however, is on the reapers list to send to death. As their lives intertwine, a deeper story unfolds as they are not just strangers who met-by chance but people with deep-rooted relations.

'Hotel Del Luna'


Cast: Yeo Jin-goo, Park Jin-joo and ‎Kim Jun-hyun
What we love: The super elaborate costumes, the gorgeous sets and strong acting by the cast

If you've not heard of 'Hotel Del Luna', then you must be living under a rock. 'Hotel Del Luna' is arguably one of the most talked about Korean series of 2019. Located in the middle of Seoul, Hotel del Luna is the eponymous hotel that caters only to ghosts. The beautiful but ill-tempered CEO is cursed to manage the hotel due to a terrible crime she committed, but cannot remember. She must work her way through the mysterious dealings of the hotel, and find out how she got herself into that position in the first place.

'Find Me In Your Memory'

Cast: Kim Dong-Wook, Mun Ka-Young and Lee Jung-Hoon'
What we love: The build-up of their love story is quite suspenful, and it will holding the edge of your seat in anticipation  

If you love a good South Korean romantic series, 'Find Me In Your Memory' is the one for you. The series revolves around a man with hyperthymesia, a condition that gives people the ability to remember an abnormally vast amount of their life experiences in vivid detail, and a woman who has forgotten the most important moments of her life. The two people with similar scars fatefully cross paths one day and come to love each other.

What we love: The nice balance of humour and suspense, as well as the mystery we can find in the entire series

'Memorist' revolves around Dong Baek, who mysteriously acquires the power to read people's memories when he was in high school. Now all grown up, Dong Baek joins the Police Force to solve crimes with his ability, and also search for clues about his past.

Thankfully for you, you can catch this highly-rated drama on TVn (Astro CH395 HD) every Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 8:15pm.

'Descendants Of The Sun'

Cast: Song Joong-ki, Song Hye-kyo, Jin Goo, and Kim Ji-won
What we love: The Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo chemistry is pure love

Ahh, an old classic! Remember when the whole world went crazy over 'Descendants Of The Sun'? This popular Korean drama tells the story of a soldier attached to the South Korean Special Forces who falls in love with a beautiful surgeon. However, their romance is short-lived as their professions keep them apart. This is a must-watch for all you K-drama lovers out there.


Cast:  ‎Shin Ye-Eun, ‎Seo Ji-Hoon and ‎Kim Myung-Soo 
What we love: The aww-so-cute moments between the two main characters. Trust us, you'll love the both of them.

Sol-A is a woman in her mid 20's and works for a graphic design company. She dreams of becoming a webcomic artist and she is a sociable person. Sol-A happens to take home a cat, Hong-Jo. Sol-A is unaware that Hong-Jo is not an ordinary cat. He has the ability to transform into a human being. Living with the cat Hong-Jo, Sol-A gets involved in unexpected cases.

'Welcome' is now on KBS World (Astro CH392 HD) at 9.10pm.

‘Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim 2’

Cast: Han Suk-kyu, Ahn Hyo-seop, Lee Sung-kyung and Kim Joo-hun
What we love: Its engrossing narrative and flow of the story kept us hooked after every episode

Fans of this medical drama are thrilled to watch the second installation of this K-Drama which was released earlier this year. Cha Eun-Jae and Seo Woo-Jin are both second-year surgery fellows who meet Master Kim after he recruits the both of them. Both of them are struggling with their careers, but will there be light at the end of the tunnel for them?

'Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim 2' is now available Astro On Demand and Astro GO, so quickly queue it up.

‘Nobody Knows’

Cast: Kim Seo-hyung, Ryu Deok-hwan, Park Hoon and Ahn Ji-ho
What we love: The intensity of the whole series. We found ourselves literally holding on to the edge of our seat almost every other episode

If you love detective or crime shows, this mystery thriller is for you. ‘Nobody Knows’ centers around Detective Cha Young-jin, who is set to catch the infamous Stigmata serial killer who murdered her friend 19 years ago. Do a little read up on what Stigmata is, and you’ll also be curious to find out who the killer is.

‘Crash Landing On You’

Cast: Hyun Bin, Son Ye-jin, Kim Jung-hyun, and Seo Ji-hye
What we love: All the feels you'll get just by watching the series - the laughs, the love and the sadness

This K-Drama is arguably currently the most popular K-Drama in Malaysia (and on the internet!) right now. ‘CLOY’ will instantly get you hooked from the first episode, thanks to its unique storyline. Entrepreneur and business mogul Yoon Se Ri accidentally ends up in North Korea after a paragliding incident and there, she meets North Korean army member, Captain Ri. Will Se Ri be able to survive in North Korea and make it back home safely?
