It has been almost five years since UK boyband One Direction took a “long-hiatus”, which eventually led to the group disbanding.
Each member then embarked on solo careers, some performing better than others.
It’s probably every Directioner’s dream to see the boys regrouping once again and guess what, that dream may just come true soon.
Something in the works
According to The Sun
, One Direction is currently in the midst of planning a special project to celebrate their 10-year anniversary in July 2020.
“We've got a ten-year anniversary coming up so we've all been speaking together a lot over the last few weeks which has been really nice,” Liam Payne told the British daily.
“To hear a lot of people's voices and seeing old content and different things that we haven't seen for a long time or never seen before, it's very interesting.
Following the news, the band’s official website is back online once again, and all former members have re-followed One Direction’s official Twitter account.
However, it is unsure whether Zayn Malik will be part of this special project since Payne has disclosed that he’s been in constant contact with only Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson.
Zayn left the band just a few months before the group announced their hiatus.
Well, it’s not too long until July comes so you can start dreaming of the boys lighting up your world like nobody else.
