Legendary Bollywood Actor Irrfan Khan Who Starred In ‘Life Of Pi’ Dies At Age 53

It’s a sad day for Bollywood and its fans as we have lost another legendary star.
 
Actor Irrfan Khan passed away at the age of 53 at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital due to neuroendocrine tumour, a rare form of cancer.

Long battle with cancer

The star most famously known for his role in the award-winning film ‘Life of Pi’ was diagnosed with the tumour in March 2018.

On 28 April 2020, he went to the hospital to seek treatment for his colon infection but was pronounced dead the next day.

Irrfan Khan is survived by his wife Sutapa and two sons.
 
Besides Bollywood, Irrfan also made his mark in Hollywood after starring in several blockbuster hits such as ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’, ‘Jurassic World’, ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, ‘Jungle Book’, and ‘The Darjeeling Limited’.

Throughout his illustrious career, Irrfan is remembered for playing several iconic villains.
