Local Cinema Set To Treat Frontliners With Free Movie Tickets As Token Of Appreciation

Our frontliners totally deserve this benefit!

Our frontliners have been working so hard in battling the COVID-19 pandemic that they deserve only the best, especially now when the number of cases has drastically reduced.

They deserve to take a long break so that they could spend some quality time with their family.

So, a local cinema operator has decided to host a free movie for them as a token of appreciation for their hard work.

A much-deserved break for our heroes

In a statement quoted by Malay Mail, TGV Cinemas will be offering the free movie from Thursday (9 July) onwards, all the way to 15 July.

Eight cinemas under the operator will be participating in the campaign: TGV Sunway Pyramid, TGV Sunway Velocity, TGV Vivacity Megamall, TGV Wangsa Walk, TGV Dpulze, TGV Permaisuri Imperial City Mall Miri, TGV Setiawalk and TGV Sunway Putra.

According to TGV Cinemas, this free movie offer is "open to all the medical and law enforcement frontliners who were essential during the outbreak of COVID-19, namely doctors, nurses, military, and police officers."

To redeem the free tickets, all they need to do is to flash their work ID at the ticket counter.

“They will be required to be present at the ticket counter for redemption and each of them will be eligible for one free Classic hall movie ticket only throughout the campaign period at any of the participating locations,” the company said in the statement.

Of course, the redemption is subject to showtime and seat availability, so if you know anyone who's been working as a frontliner during these difficult times, do bring them out for a free movie, OK?

Our frontliners truly deserve this, so thank you TGV Cinemas for spoiling them.
