Gone are the days of writing love letters or poems and sending them via mail to your love interest. Everything is online now and because of that we all get to see it. If you’re single it will get to you and even if you’re not sometimes online PDA can be so much sometimes. Read on below on the types of PDA that we all have to witness daily.
#1 The tease and trick
Now this type of PDA isn’t all that bad and technically isn’t even direct affection. It’s even fun to watch and can have you laughing your head off. Calling each other out on things and throwing mild insults translates to ‘I love you’. It shows people how comfortable the couple is with each other making single people pine for the same insults to be thrown at them.
#2 The casual duo
This PDA is so subtle you can’t even tell if they’re friends or together. Most of the time they act like best friends which throws people off but it’s because they are so close that they don’t feel the need to overcompensate online. This will make you want to date your best friend and live happily ever after.
#3 The romance experts
This couple has got the rules of online affection down and are goals. Reading their compliments and posts about each other will make anyone even the most pessimistic person want to fall in love. They don't go overboard or fall short but are right in that sweet middle. We all should learn from them for real wei.
#4 The cringe factor
Okay so here is where it gets bad and when I say bad I mean make you want to smash your screen and give up social media bad. This type of PDA is just too much with your feed constantly getting updates on their lovey dovey ways. Is it really necessary to write out a whole mushy essay about each other all the time and who even celebrates every monthversary?
However, we cannot restrict how people show their love. It may get to us at times but we just have to put up with it or mute their accounts. Anyway to get more insight into online PDA, don't miss episode 9 of WTF and hear what they have to say about it.
