Marvel recently dropped a big bomb (in a good way) on what’s in store for fans in the fourth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
We finally have dates, film titles that are coming out, and most importantly, snippets of MCU movies in phase four.
From the long-awaited ‘Black Widow’ that was postponed multiple times like there was no tomorrow to the ‘Black Panther’ sequel, here’s a low down of what fans can expect.
MCU fans, assemble!
Let’s start 2021 off with an MCU film that's been postponed so many times, we lost count. ‘Black Widow’ will finally see the light of day on 9 July, followed by ‘Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ on 3 September. The latter apparently is Marvel’s best action film to date and features the first Asian Marvel superhero.
To end the year, fans can catch ‘Eternals’ on 5 November and ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, the last film in the Spiderverse featuring Tom Holland.
Now what made fans go crazy was the glimpse of Angelina Jolie that Marvel blessed us with in a clip from ‘Eternals’.
The actress was spotted rocking a blonde look as the cosmic goddess, Thena.
In 2022, we will have four films throughout the year – ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ (25 March 2022), ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ (6 May 2022), ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ (8 July 2022), and ‘The Marvels/Captain Marvel 2’ (11 November 2022).
Marvel will not replace the late Chadwick Boseman’s character with a new actor and will move forward with the existing characters.
Only one MCU film has been announced for 2023 – ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ (17 February 2023).
Isn’t it exciting? We only have a few more months until MCU phase four kicks off and let’s hope there won’t be any more delays or postponement in the future.
Which film are you looking forward to the most?
