Filipino Man, Who Works As A Web Developer, Names Newborn Son 'HTML'
Hey guys, remember a while ago the story of an Indonesian man who named his newborn son ‘Dinas Komunikasi Informatika Statistik’, after the department he works in?

We thought the whole 'name your newborn after your job' trend would die down.

Boy, were we wrong.

A high-tech name

A Filipino man -- or rather, his newborn son -- has become an internet sensation for his 'unique' name.

According to a report by Mashable SEA, the baby boy was named ‘Hypertext Markup Language Rayo Pascual’, or HTML for short.

Yes, you read that right.

A Facebook user named Sincerely Pascual shared the news on her Facebook page, saying that HTML is her nephew and his name was inspired by his father Mac Pascual, who works as a web developer.

However, not all are fans of the unusual name, though; as Sincerely's post drew mixed reactions from netizens. Many opined that the parents lacked seriousness when naming their child and they were setting him up to be bullied when he was older.

Defending the parents, Sincerely asked everyone to remain calm and refrain from targeting the baby's parents.

In a separate Facebook post, Sincerely said that the nephew won't be the target of bullies as most children wouldn't be familiar with the word 'HTML', which kinda makes sense.

She added that in case bullying happens in the future, her family will take full responsibility.

Well, to each his own, we say! Let's hope that the poor boy doesn't get bullied when he grows up.
