If Stourbridge Junction Station in the United Kingdom has George as its resident cat, Prasarana Malaysia’s stations have three!
Rapid KL recently took to social media to share the identity of these three resident cats which it labelled as “purr-fect” workers, even if they spend most of their time slacking on the job.
More personality than some
It shared that one of the cats was Si Kacak
which could be found at the automatic fare collection (AFC) gates at the Dato’ Keramat station.
, the most delinquent of cats, enjoys watching over the passengers at LRT Dato’ Keramat while people are busy entering and exiting during peak hours.
“He is slick and fast on his tiny feet. He enjoys getting in the way of people passing the AFC gates,” wrote Rapid KL.
Rapid KL added that Si Kacak
was often spotted sleeping at the AFC gates many times and that the company should really supervise the cat when ‘he’s on the job.’
Rapid KL said another one of its resident cats was named Zorro.
The next feline employee is the aptly named Zorro as its unique fur markings resembles that of the handsome masked vigilante.
Rapid KL wrote that Zorro is “famous” for spying on passengers moving through the Taman Melati station and loves sniffing the delicious aromas from the nearby Roti Boy stall too.
And then, there’s Si Cantik
from the Wangsa Maju station.
Rapid KL wrote that Si Cantik
is a pro at customer service and once “worked” at the counter to help commuters with their queries.
“She once worked in the counter to aid any passengers in need of help, and she nailed it!
“She greets passengers with respect and loads of cuteness.”
Following the post, Rapid KL has asked passengers to tag them if they snap photos of the attention-adoring cats.
We are sure you will know the cats by their names if you spot them after this!
