Featuring original actor
According to Deadline
, a new ‘Honey I Shrunk the Kids’ reboot is on its way and it’ll feature an original cast member – Rick Moranis who played Wayne Szalinski.
The reboot will be titled ‘Shrunk’ with Joe Johnston returning to the director’s chair.
Since Moranis is already 66, the new reboot will be about his son, Nick, played by Josh Gad who aspires to follow his inventive footsteps.
However, Nick’s ambitions suddenly downsized when he also accidentally shrinks his own kids.
Disney is planning to a theatrical release for ‘Shrunk’ instead of doing so on its streaming platform, Disney+.
