Boys and girls, if you are feeling adventurous, go do something fun yet safe like going on a thrill ride, 'kay?
Don’t ever do something unsafe, especially without adult supervision, like what this 30-year-old woman from Alor Setar, Kedah did.
Feeling adventurous, the woman used a small hoop earring and hooked it to her nose as a nose ring.
However, she learnt the hard way that no matter how she tried, she could not remove it.
Stuck on you, forever!
According to a report by Astro Awani, the woman had no choice but to call the Alor Setar Fire and Rescue Department for help.
Five firefighters were deployed to the scene and they managed to remove the earring using a special cutter.
The department’s Operations and Rescue Division assistant director Mohamadul Ehsan Mohd Zain reportedly said the earring was successfully removed within 10 minutes.
Luckily, the woman did not sustain any injuries.
We have so many questions though:
1. Why was the earring on her nose?
2. Why did she call the fire department and not go to a clinic?
3. What did the emergency call to the fire department sound like?
Anyway, while we (both you and us) ponder, let's just stick to the professionals when it comes to piercings, ya?
