Legoland Malaysia Used 150,000 Pieces Of LEGO Bricks To Create These Stunning Frontliners Murals
It doesn't need to be said, but the biggest heroes during the pandemic are undoubtedly the frontliners.

The doctors, the nurses, the medical frontliners, the police forces and abang-abang riders have sacrificed their lives to ensure that all of us are safe.

There have been a lot of tributes for the frontliners - and they totally deserve it! - and the latest came from none other than Legoland Malaysia.

A creative tribute

On Friday (11 September), the family theme park unveiled a series of life-size frontliner murals as a tribute to the admirable contributors in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The murals depict portraits of frontliners that have selflessly dedicated their time and lives to ensure the our safety, including medical practitioners, the army, the police force and even government officials.

And yep, you guessed it: the murals are made entirely out of LEGO bricks.

According to Legoland Malaysia, the idea of creating the frontliner murals came from the resort's employees themselves.

Together with the Malaysian LEGO Building Community (yup, there's such a thing!), the employees managed to build a total of five murals.

The murals took nine days to complete, and they are made out of a whopping 150,000 pieces of LEGO bricks.

C.S. Lim, the divisional director of Legoland Malaysia, said the LEGO murals are made in thoughts of the unwavering efforts from the frontliners to keep our country safe.

"Their contributions are integral in enabling Legoland Malaysia to resume our operations and providing Malaysians the ability to enjoy their vacations again," he said during the unveiling ceremony.

To further pay tribute to the frontliners, the resort will also be giving away a total of 3,000 park access tickets so that these frontliners can take a well-deserved break at the resort.

Now, this is an awesome tribute!

The murals will be displayed at Legoland Malaysia, so when you make your way there, remember to keep an eye out for them as they will be on display for a limited time only.

Thank you, Legoland, for taking care of our frontliners!
