The one thing Malaysians love more than food is none other than public holidays.

To be honest, who doesn't, right? A long weekend is the perfect time for us to plan a long holiday and just chill.

If you're wondering how many long weekends are there in 2021, don't worry; we've got you covered!


We at Rojak Daily did all the hard work so that you can start your holiday planning for next year.

In total, you can have 59 days off by utilising just 15 annual leave days.

Do note that some of the national holidays like Hari Raya Aidilfitri are not set in stone yet, and that you can have more than 57 days off if you're lucky enough to be working in a company that showers you with tonnes of annual leaves.

When to take off: 4 January and 29 January

FEBRUARY 2021:


Public holiday(s): 12 and 13 February (Chinese New Year)
When to take off: 15 February
Total day offs/annual leaves used: 4 days/1 day

APRIL 2021:



Public holiday(s): 29 April (Nuzul Al-Quran)
When to take off: 30 April
Total day offs/annual leaves used: 4 days/1 day

MAY 2021



Public holiday(s): 1 May (Labour Day), 13-14 May (Hari Raya Aidilfitri) and 26 April (Hari Wesak)
When to take off: 17 May, 27 May, 28 May
Total day offs/annual leaves used: 12 days/3 days

JUNE 2021:


Public holiday(s): 7 June (Agong's Birthday)
When to take off: 4 June
Total day offs/annual leaves used: 4 days/1 day

JULY 2021:


Public holiday(s): 20 July (Hari Raya Haji)
When to take off: 19 July
Total day offs/annual leaves used: 4 days/1 day

AUGUST 2021:


Public holiday(s): 10 August (Awal Muharram) and 31 August (Hari Merdeka)
When to take off: 4 August and 30 August
Total day offs/annual leaves used: 8 days/2 days

SEPTEMBER 2021:



Public holiday(s): 16 September (Hari Malaysia)
When to take off: 17 September
Total day offs/annual leaves used: 4 days/1 day
 

OCTOBER 2021:

When to take off: 18 October

NOVEMBER 2021:
