Does this describe your typical morning: when the alarm goes off in the morning, you groan, hit the snooze button and go right back to sleep?
And because of your lack of willpower, you're always running late for work, or a meeting, or generally, just your regular morning activities.
Well, fret not; there's soon going to be an app that would help you break your nasty morning habits.
A price to pay for being late
Now, don't be fooled into thinking that this is just any ordinary app; if you do not reach a location you've set beforehand in time, the app will charge you money.
Yup, that's right; the Mezamee
app will hit you where you hurt most when you're running late: your bank account.
According to a report by Soranews24
, the app is fully customisable and it's extremely simple to use.
All you need to do is to set your current location, pick the time or date you need to leave the house by and finally, set an amount that you will have to pay if you don’t leave your house by then.
You can set any amount above 100 yen (RM3.76).
The app will reportedly charge you if you are not 100 meters away from your location by the time you've set in the app.
“If you don’t sleep in, it’s free. But if you do, you get charged,” the CEO of Mezamee said in the website.
Seems fair enough, right?
If you know someone who desperately needs this app, it is still currently in the development phase, and the CEO is reportedly looking at implementing more new features before officially rolling out the app to the public.
We do hope that the app will be available here in Malaysia, because this could be the weapon we need to finally eradicate the whole Malaysian timing thing.
