M'sian Man Under Home Quarantine Gets Mini Heart Attack When Wife Turns Up In Full PPE Suit

Pulling a fast one on her husband.

When you're under home quarantine, life can get a little sad and dull.

This Malaysian wife, however, decided to play a little prank on her husband to lift his spirits.

A prank done right

A video of Haqif Zulkifli's wife surprising him by donning a full personal protection equipment (PPE) suit has gone viral on social media site TikTok.

Haqif, who's an owner of a restaurant, told local website mStar that he was forced to self quarantine after one of his staff tested positive for COVID-19.

While he spent his days in his room waiting for his COVID-19 test result, his wife has been taking care of everything.

However, on the third day of his quarantine, the 29-year-old got a bit of a shock when a person in a full PPE suit walked into his room.

Haqif then panicked for a little bit, as he thought that someone from the Ministry of Health has come to pick him up and send him to a quarantine center.

As it turns out, the person in the full PPE suit -- complete with gloves, shoe covers, a face mask and a face shield -- was his wife, who came to deliver food to him.

Here's the hilarious video:

"Look at my wife," Haqif said as both of them burst out in laughter.

"I thought someone from the Health Ministry came to pick me up but turns out it was just my wife sending me food," he wrote in the caption.

A moment of confusion

While Haqif can look back and have a hearty laugh now, he told mStar that initially, he was hella confused.

"I thought a Health Ministry staff member was here to pick me up but I was confused because I never got a call or text about it.

"Turns out it was my wife in that PPE suit.

"Good thing she came to deliver food in the middle of the day. If she came after dark, I would’ve been even more shocked," he told the news portal.

Haqif added that his wife managed to source a full protective suit from her brother, who works in PPE production.

Haqif's light-hearted video has since been viewed more than 500,000 times on TikTok, so we are guessing that a lot of Malaysians love the little prank too.
