It's the middle of September, and you know what that means.
It is time to break that little piggy bank of yours because the new iPhones have just been announced.
New year, new iPhones
On Wednesday morning (15 September), Apple revealed their new iPhone line-up for this year, the iPhone 13 Series.
Just like last year, there will be new four iPhones: the iPhone 13 mini
, iPhone 13
, iPhone 13 Pro
, and the iPhone 13 Pro Max
Looks-wise, there are very minimal changes compared to the previous generation, but under the hood, the iPhone 13 Series get some pretty huge upgrades.
The entire line-up is powered by the A15 Bionic chip, which Apple claims is more powerful than its competitors, giving it super-fast performance and massive power efficiency.
The iPhone 13 and the iPhone 13 mini will also be boasting the Super Retina XDR displays, making images on the screen sharper and more vibrant.
Most notably, the entire line-up will now get a minimum of 128GB of storage as standard, which is a much welcomed change.
However, the majority of the good stuff can be found on the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
Both high-end models now boast a storage option of 1TB, which is the largest ever to be offered on the iPhone.
The iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max also boast Super Retina XDR displays with the ProMotion feature, which supports an adaptive refresh rate from 10Hz to 120Hz.
That sounds awesome - and pretty expensive.
Malaysian pricing revealed
According to Apple, the iPhone 13 Series will be made available for Malaysians to pre-order beginning 1 October, and stocks are expected to arrive by 8 October.
The iPhone 13 mini and the iPhone 13 will be available in pink, blue, midnight, starlight, and (PRODUCT)RED, while the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max come in graphite, gold, silver, and sierra blue.
Now, comes the question we know you're all dying to ask: how much will the new iPhone 13 cost?
Apple has revealed the Malaysian pricing, and here they are:
iPhone 13 mini (5.4-inch display)
iPhone 13 (6.1-inch display)
iPhone 13 Pro (6.1-inch display)
iPhone 13 Pro Max (6.7-inch display)
There you go, folks. Now you have your answer.
Surprisingly, the price tag for each storage option remains unchanged from its predecessor despite the bump in storage for the cheapest option in each category.
However, we do have to say that the price tag for the 1TB option of the iPhone 13 Pro Max sure does make our eyes water.
