Admit it; we've all sent a text message that we've regretted, be it a drunken naughty text or generally, just a text you shouldn't have sent.
Thankfully, these mistakes will soon be a thing in the past as WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new feature that would allow us users to recall our texts.
Twitter account @WABetaInfo
tweeted a photo of the feature in action on 13 April, revealing the details of the yet-to-be-released 'unsend' feature in the Android v2.17.150 beta.
According to the Twitter page, the feature apparently allows users to recall messages within five minutes of sending it
, as long as the other party has not read the message yet.
When users send a message, they will reportedly be presented with two options when they long hold on the message: 'Edit' or 'Revoke'.
Edit allows users to edit the text message, while Revoke enables them to recall the message altogether.
The page also claimed that the feature will very likely be launched with WhatsApp next official update, although that's not been confirmed yet.
Other features reportedly included in the next update are the 'Change Number' feature - which allows a user to easily notify their contacts if they changed their number - and the 'Share Your Location' feature.
Now, all we need is a 'Send Pizza' function...
