The most pretty co-working spaces in KL. Images: credited below
Start ups, economical entrepreneurs, humans, we can all do with a better working environment and that's why you see so many people working at cafes, sipping on the same stale cup of coffee they ordered at 9am. To fill this void, we've found eight of the most Instagram-ready looking co-working spaces for you to work and take pictures at, all day.
1. PORT Commune, Seksyen 51

The Port for artisans to meet is an event space that has seen various launches, workshops, and exhibitions. Ultimately, its founders envision the warehouse to function as a meeting ground for like-minded creatives to collaborate and create. There is a culture of sharing here whereby the teams who are already working there share projects amongst each other. At the time of writing they're looking for web designers and videographers but all are still welcome.

Is there a better place to get inspiration than a repurposed heritage printing factory? Nope, there isn't. It's a rhetorical question. Uppercase present a strong case for membership instead of tenancy and their aim is to impact communities and to transform the way we work through the sharing of talent in different fields. You can take part in exclusive events held here and enjoy the benefits of in-house services like auditing and printing. There's also a park nearby for rejuvenation and satellite spaces through their network of partner companies.

They are part of a bigger family of co-working spaces with one in Singapore and another in The Row, Jalan Doraisamy, but we like the look of the one in Bangsar the most. Made from a converted bungalow, your soon-to-be office holds a self-contained ecosystem of entrepreneurs who eat, drink, work, and relax together on the location. Also, Bean Reserve is located on the premises so you know you'll never run out of juice to fuel your workday. Prices for the amenities vary according to the price you pay. Top up for access to direct internet, dedicated workstation booth, access to community events, and more.

The anti-working space in Bangsar has everything your office needs, plus excellent coffee. It's ironically called the anti-work space though because it is impressively equipped with almost everything a fully-functioning business needs to run day-to-day operations. The open plan concept of the space and general cafe aesthetics also lull you into accidentally being productive. The best kind of productive.

They offer various configurations for the kind of work you do and proper equipment to do it with, but the main draw of the place is the community at work there.

Admittedly this is more of a cafe. There's a full menu with all-day breakfast (and options for two and four people), various pastas (try the green curry pasta), and a spattering of snacks ranging from salads to breads (sourdough made in-house) and pastries. These are supplemented by set meals for an additional RM4 for a drink. Coffees start with the traditional dark roast and specialty grade for RM9 and RM10 respectively in black or white. Now to the best part, it's open 24 hours a day, has a 50mbp/s internet speed, and there is no charge for working here. No booking is required and it's a first-come, first-served deal.
