Apple fans, if you’ve been eyeing the MacBook Pro for quite some time but aren’t able to make that purchase due to its hefty price tag, well, we’ve got great news for you.

According to Bloomberg, Apple will be releasing a new low-cost laptop and an upgrade to the Mac Mini desktop by the end of this year.

This new laptop, which we hope has a cheaper price tag making it more affordable to us, will be similar to the MacBook Air but will have “thinner bezels around the screen”, according to the report.

Are you already eyeing this low-cost MacBook?
The low-cost MacBook display will also have a higher-resolution “Retina” version.

For comparisons sake, a MacBook Air will set you back at least RM3,961 and it’s the only Apple product without a high-resolution screen.

As for the Mac Mini, Apple is planning to introduce a new storage system and processor options.

So guys, better start saving! Who knows, the new so-called low-cost MacBook will cost less than RM3,000.
