Your children will thank you!

It’s that time of the year again, folks!

If you’re a working adult, it means that the Christmas holidays are coming (yay!). If you’re a working adult with children, it also means that it’s time to go stationary and school supply shopping for your kid’s new school year.

And if you’ve done one before, you would know that it’s tedious work. You need to look around for the best school bag, make sure your kids love the stationary you bought them and most importantly, the school supply must be durable enough to withstand a full year of ‘abuse’.

If you’re already stressing about shopping for your kids, fret not; there’s some really good news for you.

Tesco Malaysia has just launched their ‘Back to School – Beli Terus Senyum (BTS)’ campaign, and the stuff that is on offer is sure to fulfil all your children’s needs.

Plus, the magical designs this season are sure to make your kids the hippest in school!

Superhero, or unicorn?

This year, the theme for Tesco’s back to school campaign is loud, proud and magical. It follows the K-Pop style, where you'll find a lot of bright, neon colours and even the BTS campaign song has K-Pop flavours to it!

From superhero-themed school essentials to Disney and colourful Unicorn ones, there’s something to entice every kid, especially the ones who love to be as fashionable as K-Pop stars.

(Don't) Let it go!
If your kids want to be a part of the ‘Avengers’, or pretty like the ‘Frozen’ princesses or ride along with ‘My Little Pony’ (as some adults we know still are, ahem), you’d be relieved to know Tesco has a 4-in-1 collection so you don’t have to scour through the whole supermarket or even go to multiple places to get matching things.

The 4-in-1 collection consists of a schoolbag, a water bottle, a sling bag that fits home-packed lunch (among other things) perfectly and a pencil case.

If your kids are not fans of the Avengers, ‘Frozen’ or ‘My Little Pony’, don’t worry; we are pretty sure the colourful Unicorn-themed school essentials will entice them and put a smile on their faces:

Looking at the designs, we’re sure your children will be excited for the new schooling year so that they can show off all their new colourful bags and such.

That’s not all, of course. The store offers a wide variety of designs for every schooling needs imaginable – from school uniforms and shoes to stationaries and water bottles.

Party while shopping? Yes, please!

Besides having all your children’s ‘Back to School’ needs under one roof, Tesco will also be organising some exciting activities for its customers.

Not only will you be serenaded by Tesco's K-Pop inspired theme song, you also have a chance to win amazing prizes if you join their Dance off competition.

Do you have what it takes?
Just for this back to school season, Tesco has come up with a K-Pop-inspired jingle, to which contestants are expected to dance to. You can find the tune here and start practicing cos the reward for the best performances are amazing!

For each category - Best Choreography, Best Parent and Child Dance Off, and Best Sibling Dance Off – one grand prize of a Nintendo Switch awaits the winners.

If you’re one of the first 200 valid entries, you will also be entitled to get a RM5 e-voucher.

Remember, you need at least two people in a team to join the contest and have a valid receipt of minimum RM50 spending.

So, grab your family members, bust some moves for at least 30 seconds and upload your video on your Facebook or Instagram account with the hashtag #TescoBTSChallenge and you could be in the running to bring home that Nintendo Switch.

The contest will take place between 14 Nov – 13 Dec 2019 so you have plenty of time to practice and give your best.

You can find the contest terms and comditions here.

Even if you don’t win, you’d have put a smile on your children’s faces, not only by buying them school necessities in their favourite designs, but also bonding over a song choreography.

Good luck and happy shopping! For more information, check out their official website or give their Facebook page a ‘Like’.
