Let’s be real, the COVID-19 pandemic isn’t ending any time soon and a lot of countries have imposed lockdowns on its citizens to curb the spread of the deadly pandemic.
And the lockdown includes Portugal, where football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, is currently self-quarantining with his family.
Ronaldo is currently spending his days at his own luxury rooftop pool villa in Madeira, Portugal.
But what recently caught netizens’ attention wasn’t his luxury villa but the fact that he went on an ‘exploration’ of his own private island with his son.
According to reports, the Juventus player bought a stretch of private land on the Madeira Island, which boasts views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Some have claimed that the news was fake, but it’s definitely real when the star uploaded a photo with the caption: “Discovering my island with the best company” and hash tagged the island.
Fans were obviously in awe of Ronaldo’s wealth and some even aspired to be “that level of rich”.
Well to be honest, if we owned a private island, we don’t mind spending the Movement Control Order (MCO) there for the next six months or so.
So, if you could buy a private island, where would it be?
