An Internet troll is an individual of an online social network who intentionally causes trouble by posting certain comments, photos, videos, GIFs or some other type of online content. You can find them all over the internet where there’s open access to express opinions and thoughts. Here’s a list of the most common types of online troll you’ll encounter.
#1 The Grammar Police Troll
Okay so we all know this kind of troll and we hate them with a burning passion. They’re the people who have this compulsion to correct spelling and grammar mistakes in the comment section while making it incredibly obvious they’ve done so. It’s basically the most annoying thing to open your account and see on your feed kind of like nails on a chalkboard.
#2 The Rude Troll
This one is a complete hater and scarily straightforward. Plus, they don't even have a reason to insult someone they just like doing it. These sorts of trolls will normally pick on anybody by calling them names, blaming them for things, doing anything they can to get a negative reaction from them just because they can. If it sounds a lot like cyberbullying that because most of the time it can be.

#3 The Caps Locks Troll
So unlike some of the above who actually know what they’re doing, this guy is the one who has nothing of value to add to the conversation except spamming our feed with profanity and all-caps, emphasizing only F-bombs and other curse words with his caps lock button left on. You would think they are kids but sadly they are full-grown adults with nothing else to do but finding a way to make themselves feel superior.
#4 The Debate Troll
We all have encountered this troll hiding behind the mask of a social justice warrior and the only hitch; they love a good argument. They can take a thorough fact-based statement and attack from all opposing directions just to challenge it. This is to prove that they’re right and everyone else is sadly wrong. So, you’ll be left with incredibly long treads of arguments in your comment section so they will get the last word.
#5 The Blabbermouth Troll
Alright, this is a person who does not need to part take in arguments but just loves to share their opinions and personal feelings with much detail even going as far as spreading heinous rumours just so they can hear their own voice. If you need to visualise this person just thinks of the gossipy “Makcik bawang” in your circle of friends or family. They think they know everything and make sure everyone else knows that too.

So all in all guys, you can’t ignore these creatures, but the best way to handle them is: STOP FEEDING them! They certainly don't deserve your attention and you don't deserve to be tormented by them.
