As we all know, Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah was recently bestowed with the Darjah Panglima Setia Mahkota (PSM), which carries the title “Tan Sri.”
Praises and messages of congratulations came pouring in following the announcement but looks like Dr Noor Hisham is still grounded and as humble as ever.
Why do we say this?
Well, in a post on his Facebook page, he dedicated the Tan Sri title to all COVID-19 frontliners.
Dedicated to those fighting on the frontlines
“Alhamdulillah, this title and degree of greatness is a tribute to all the frontline officers and [those] behind the scenes of the Health Ministry."
“It is also the symbol of faith and government appreciation to civil servants,” he wrote as reported by Malay Mail.
He added that he hoped the appreciation shown would lift up the spirits of the frontliners when carrying out their tasks.
So sweet lah!
Congratulations Dr Noor Hisham!
