Handcuffed Local Woman Escapes Police Custody, Hops Onto BF's Motorbike, Rides Off Into The Sunset
This may sound like a scene from an action movie, but it actually happened.

In Malaysia, nonethless!

Daring escape

A female detainee, who had just pleaded not guilty to a drug-related charge, managed to give the police the slip before escaping on a motorcycle.

According to a report by Bernama, the incident happened at the Raub Court around 4.30pm last Monday (14 September).

The suspect, Saidatina Aida Sahabudin, was reportedly being led to a police truck after her court proceedings when a man, believed to be her boyfried, rode up to her on a motorbike with the license plate DBQ 8005.

The 23-year-old, who was in handcuffs, managed to shake off the police escort and got onto the bike before speeding away.

District police chief Superintendent Kama Azural Mohamed said in a statement quoted by the news agency that the policeman on duty gave chase and managed to hold onto the motorcycle, but he fell and injured himself.

Call the police if you see her.
He added that the police have identified the male suspect, who is from Kampung Pulau Kabong Budu, Benta, Lipis.

The police are currently still hunting down the suspects, so if you have any information, do contact them, yeah?

In the meantime, we just can't believe this actually happened in Malaysia.
