There are no boundaries and limits when it comes to the quest of knowledge, which is why this former Youth and Sports Minister has decided to continue his studies amidst his political commitments to the country.
Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman recently revealed that he has been awarded a place and scholarship at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
The Muar MP will be enrolled in Lee Kuan Yew's Senior Fellowship in Public Service and classes will commend on Monday (21 September).
He has received his offer letter since June but chose to only share it now as he is about to begin his journey at NUS.
The MUDA co-founder added that his class will be held online and he’s excited to finally continue his studies to sharpen his public policy skills while serving fellow Malaysians.
“As a young person, there is a lot more for me to learn in order to be able to serve my country better,” Syed Saddiq said via his Twitter account.
Interestingly, the 27-year-old also disclosed that he had to skip his Masters Degree at Oxford University twice due to his involvement in politics.
Many netizens congratulated him following the news and wished him luck in his studies.
Well, congratulations Syed Saddiq! May your next journey in academia will bear fruit for you and the country.
