What the eff was he thinking?!

Video of a SUV driving against traffic and hitting another car has gone viral.

Not that we can ever understand why anyone in their right mind would drive against traffic, but who is to say the driver is sane?

The police has confirmed the incident

A short video showing a compact car driving against traffic on the highway and hitting another car has gone viral on social media.

Here's a video of the incident:
From what we can find, the video was first shared by TikTok user @yorkitan.

According to Bernama, the police has confirmed the incident, which reportedly happened along KM355.4 of the North-South Expressway at around 6.08pm on Wednesday (11 October).

The video looked like it was captured by a driver on the opposite side of the highway (the correct side, we must add), who was tracking the movement of a silver Perodua Axia, which was driving against traffic.

(Note: It's not safe to use your phone to record weird incidents on the road also lah ye).

As you would expect, there would be no happy ending to this story, as the Perodua Axia can be seen a few moments later crashing head on into a Toyota Rush, who was just minding its own business driving in the correct direction.

Judging by the pictures and the video, a lorry that was on another lane couldn't stop in time and rammed into the Perodua Axia.

All three drivers reportedly escaped unhurt.
According to Tapah District Police Chief Supt Wan Azharuddin Wan Ismail, the driver of the Perodua Axia was heading to Bidor from Klang to celebrate Deepavali.

The driver of the Perodua Axia, 34-year-old T. Yugeswaran, was reportedly trying to avoid a police roadblock at the Sungkai exit.

Supt Wan Azharuddin said that the suspect was brought into custody at around 11am on Thursday (12 November) to facilitate with investigations under Section 42 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

We have no idea what was going on in the driver's head, but please be safe on the road yeah, guys?
