However, a local food delivery rider who was on his way to deliver food did the exact opposite.
A kind gesture indeed

, an unnamed GrabFood became the toast of the internet after he stopped his motorcycle while rushing to deliver his order to help a blind man cross the road.

According to Fariza, she witnessed the heartwarming scene last Saturday (14 October) in Gombak.
Fariza wrote that the kind-hearted GrabFood delivery rider stopped by the side of the road after noticing a blind man trying to the cross a busy intersection.
“To GrabFood riders, even if you’re in a rush to send your customers’ orders, you can still stop for a while to help someone in need.
“While crossing the road might seem easy, helping that blind uncle is a big deal for someone like him,” she wrote.
