It is heartwarming to see many people coming together for a good cause.
This happened recently on the Karak Highway as a group of kind-hearted Samaritans banded together to rescue an injured dog.
Kind-hearted Malaysians saved the day
According to a report by
Free Malaysia Today, a couple initially spotted a stray dog seemingly stuck on a spot on the side of Karak Highway.
The man approached the dog and was shocked to find that the dog had got itself tangled and caught in sharp barbed wires attached to a tree branch.
The man tried to untangle the wires but to no avail.
In a 40-second video, the man's partner can be heard saying that there were some traces of blood on the poor doggo's neck.
Noticing the couple’s predicament, some passers-by, including a group of cyclists, stopped to help but unfortunately, they could not do much as the dog was too tangled in the barbwire.
Thankfully, a motorcyclist who was passing also stopped to help, and he had a knife with him which he used to cut the wire.
Once the men finally managed to set the doggo free, it ran off to the bushes nearby.

It's definitely heart-warming to see that Malaysians are willing to go out of their way to help an animal friend in need.
