Talk about some superb ball-handling skills.
First, it was all about the shuttlecocks. Now, it's all about the balls.
The Malaysian men's and women's dodgeball teams have cemented their place as the best in the world after they emerged victorious at the World Dodgeball Championships, The New Straits Times
They were part of 12 nations which took part in the event, which was held in Toronto, Canada from 18 to 21 October.
The women's team -- who won the title last year -- had a pretty tough campaign as they finished fourth in the group, winning four of their matches and losing three.
They narrowly defeated USA 7-6 in the semi-finals, and they avenged their defeat to Australia in the group stage by beating them 7-5 in the final to clinch the gold.
As for the men's team -- who finished second last year -- they looked pretty much unstoppable from the get-go as they marched to the top of the table by winning all seven of their matches.
They defeated Australia 7-5 in the semi-finals before clinching the gold with a hard-fought 8-6 victory over host Canada in the final.
By winning both the men's and women's category, they became only the second country in the Championships' six-year history to win both titles in the same year, after the USA did the same back in 2015.
Well done, Team Malaysia!
