Just in case you forgot who owns Instagram and WhatsApp, Facebook will remind you with their upcoming rebranding exercise.
According to a report by tech website
The Information, our favourite apps Instagram and WhatsApp will soon be known as 'Instagram from Facebook' and 'WhatsApp from Facebook'.
Yep, Facebook really wants you to know who Instagram and WhatsApp's daddy is.

The move to rename the popular apps is part of Facebook’s rebranding exercise, the website reported.
The report said the change was confirmed by Facebook spokesperson Bertie Thomson, who said: “We want to be clearer about the products and services that are part of Facebook.”
The change of names will be reflected on the App Store and Play Store, as well as directly within the apps.
Facebook has owned WhatsApp since 2014 and Instagram since 2012 and judging by the new names, it's probably going to be owned by them forever.
