Remember when you were six years old? You were probably playing with Barbie dolls and having imaginary tea parties.
However, for one Malaysian girl, she's already representing the country and winning international awards.
, quoting a Sin Chew Daily
news report, reported that the little girl named Olivia Lim Ling emerged victorious at the 2019 Vienna Grand Prize Virtuoso international competition recently.
According to the report, the talented pianist amazed the judges with her rendition of Frederic Chopin’s "Waltz in E-Flat Major (Sostenuto)", as well as her piano playing ability.
The girl, who hails from Petaling Jaya, competed against piano prodigies from Brazil, France, Germany, Italy and Japan, but she managed to clinch the top spot.
The organisers of the competition also invited Lim to perform at the Grand Prize Virtuoso Ceremony on 3 September, at the iconic Wiener Musikverein concert hall in Vienna.
The news portal also reported that Lim started playing the piano when she four and has won numerous other musical competitions.
