Dengue Cases In Malaysia Reach An All-Time High
Mosquitoes are annoying, and they could also make you really, really sick.

In fact, the cases of people falling ill because of mosquitoes are reportedly at an all-time high.

Number of cases are up

The Star Online reported that as of 4 December, the total number of dengue cases reported were 120,871.

The number trumps the highest ever number of recorded dengue cases in the country, 120,836 cases in 2015.

That's not good news.

The news portal reported that the latest figure was revealed by the Health Ministry and the National Space Agency’s iDengue website.

The website, which is updated daily, noted that there have been 164 dengue-related deaths as of 30 November, which surpassed the 147 fatalities recorded in the whole of last year.

The number of fatalities pales in comparison to the number recorded in 2015, as 336 people lost their lives to dengue.

As the number of cases are alarmingly high, you guys need to be extra careful, especially when you have a habit of going jogging in the late evening.
