There Will Be No KTM Interstate And Intercity Train Services During The MCO Period
KTMB

No travelling for you guys!

Sorry guys, looks like you really need to #StayHome and duduk diam-diam!

In a bid to stop interstate travels, KTMB will be suspending its interstate and intercity train services beginning Wednesday (25 March).

Only for critical services staff

Bernama, quoting a statement by KTMB, reported that the suspension of the services is until the end of the Movement Control Order (MCO) period.

KTMB chief executive officer Kamarulzaman Zainal said in the statement that only its Electric Train Services (ETS) and KTM Intercity would operate daily, compared to eight in the normal situation.

Meanwhile, he said the operations of its KTM Komuter line would be reduced to 49 services a day for the Klang Valley and north sector.

“This includes the transporting of medical and food supplies as well as the movement of staff of various critical services involved in the enforcement of the order,” he said.

No ETS trains for you, too!
He added that Skypark Link train services between Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station and Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang would also be reduced to four services daily, but the Ekspres Rakyat Timuran, Ekspres Selatan and Shuttle Tebrau services will be suspended until the MCO is over.

“Passengers can make amendments or cancel their tickets via the website www.ktmb.com.my,” he said.

Well, just stay at home, you guys.
