More and more pictures of exhausted medical frontliners are being shared on social media.
It must be really difficult for all of them especially with numbers of COVID-19 patients rising.
Most of us can't do much but sit at home but if you have the medical expertise, why not volunteer?
MOH director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that all volunteers with medical backgrounds were welcomed.
"To date, 157 volunteers have come signed up and been assigned to volunteer in stages to help with the COVID-19 health and medical assistance team.
"Another 1,008 people will be joining the medical team at hospitals and they consist of people with various professional medical backgrounds," he said on a post on Facebook.
Dr Noor Hisham said that looking at the current situation, more help was needed and urged volunteers to come forward.
