And today (21 April) marks a very special day for him, as it is his birthday!
For his 57th
birthday, the surgeon dubbed as our national hero, has only one wish that we believe as Malaysians, we should help grant.

, Dr Noor Hisham says that the most special gift for him will be “if Malaysians remain staying at home and observe high hygiene standards" with a smile.
Dr Noor Hisham said that if we do so, it would be one of the most important birthday gifts in his life.
The hashtag #HappyBirthdayDGHisham is also trending on Twitter with over 10,000 tweets celebrating his birthday.
On the eve of his birthday, the Selangor native delivered some good news, as the new COVID-19 cases in our country was the lowest recorded since 12 March, with only 36 cases and no deaths.
He was also recently listed as the top three best doctors in the world in handling the pandemic alongside United States' infectious disease expert Dr Anthony Fauci and New Zealand's director-general of health Ashley Bloomfield. You can read more about it here
