Malaysians have spent five weeks at home ever since the Movement Control Order (MCO) was announced, and it seems that the order is starting to show positive progress as we’ve only had double digits cases for the past few days.
And that’s not all; one state in Malaysia has been declared COVID-19 free, according to data shared by Malaysia’s Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC).
All cases recovered and discharged
According to Sinar Harian
, Perlis is now a green zone and is also the first COVID-19-free state after all 18 cases have recovered and discharged.
There are no active cases in all 22 townships to date.
Previously, nine townships in the state recorded a number of COVID-19 cases.
Besides Perlis, Kelantan has also showed some improvement with only a few active cases left in Kota Bharu and Tanah Merah.
There are currently a total of 65 green zones, 63 yellow zones, and 14 red zones in the country.
Good job, guys! Together we will end this pandemic by staying at home and practising social distancing.
